My sketchin' blog is aplace where I can post my doodles of the places I visit and things I do.
My hope is that by having this blog it wil keep me motivated to keep sketching and improve my skills as an artist. Plus it is a great way to share my experiences.

Great blog site. I too am a member of WetCanvas and have become a sketching maniac. I had never sketched from life and now I can't stop. Chaise is very cute and you look like you were really enjoying the camping trip. My husband likes to camp but he goes with the guys since I don't like camping. Keep up the sketching. And welcome to WetCanvas. We also have a thread called Scavenger Hunt. We are on our 4th. We get a list of 26 items and we have to find them and sketch them from life. No photo refs or imagination. So far we have been having one almost every week. The first one to "find" and sketch all the items, makes up the next list. It gets you really sketching every day and is loads of fun. Thanks Jeanne. Camping is a grat way to get out and find things to sketch form life. You should give it a try. Even if your husband is out fishing or doing whatever he likes to do with his buddies, it can give you a whole afternoon with nothing to do but sketch, sketch, sketch.
I saw the scavenger hunt thread, but I caught it towards the end. I ended up at the weekly drawing thread which was fun. I will have to give the hunt a try next week. Maybe I will see you there.
